Message from committee members
Dear Nursing Colleagues:
We hope that you will be able to join us at University of California, San Francisco, March 21, 2008, for a very timely and stimulating conference on the Nursing Perspective on Universal Health Care, and international perspective. We hope to learn from Japanese, Canadian, British, Botswana and U.S. nurses on the successes and moral underpinnings of open access to health care. In the United States, we currently have about 50 million people uninsured and many of them are children and young mothers. We hope that this conference will be an impetus for our government to correct the problems of disparities between the wealthy and the poor of your country.
